i am looking at getting a new guitar and i have seen various models in my price range with original Floyd Rose tremelos. but what would it offer me in my playing. cos from what i have heard they make it difficult to tune the guitar.

any useful info on tremelos is welcome
remember kids, you can't spell bass without ass

there are not hard to tune, its just when you have to re-string them the problems really start

Its called tremolo... Not tremelo. Anyways theyre not hard to tune, it just takes a while ^^
You get used to it. And no, there are no problems when changing strings. I dunno what it would "offer you in playing" (:S). Its a ****ing guitar!
