I was looking through an old Fender frontline I had from 1995 and saw a lot of Guild electrics in there. When did they stop making them and why?

And when you consider that Fender would have a lot to gain from a Gibson copies company or anyting similar, it seems pretty stupid.

Irony is they now own Hamer, which has always done Gibson copies, yet won't let Guild or Jackson do them. Jackson used to make some killer Explorers and Firebirds, but those days are long gone. I seem to recall Guild had some nice super strat-like guitars back in the day as well along with Hamer.
