Just got an insane deal on a PRS Modern Eagle II fbj w/trem. The most incredible guitar I have ever played. I have about $1600 left over from what I thought i would spend on the guitar, and want to buy a new amp. Just wondering what you guys think is the best overall amp around $1600. I currently have a B-52 AT-100/AT-412 100W Tube Half Stack. I also am more worried about tone than power because I could always mic it.... I live in maryland, so I can get pretty much anything. Obviously I am looking for a tube amp, and I play anything from rock, blues, jazz, pretty much everything but metal.

I love Crate amps....i might be biased a bit, idk, but i think they have a great tone. I have a crate that costed around $450? and I love it, so maybe check out a higher end Crate amp.

Hmmm, i could have sworn you can play any genre on a guitar amp. I play metal, rock, and jazz on my crate and they all sound great.

I'm a pretty avid fan of the Fender Supersonic...
The Laney Thread are big and clever. No exceptions.
