so my friend has an ltd (m-1000) and he has a ground wire, he has active emgs 81 in the bridge 81 in the neck.

and my other friend just got an ltd (mh-1000) active emgs 81 in the bridge 85 in the neck, but the mh-1000 doesnt have a ground wire, there HAS to be a ground wire yes?

i mean theres a ground wire on all the other schematics ive seen, the reason i ask is cuz there was something wrong and the bassist my my two buddy's band redid all the wiring for the mh-1000 and he SWEARS that emgs are internally grounded, but if thats the case why does the m-1000 have a ground wire?

im talking about the ground wire going to the metal plate thing that the springs on the back latch onto, not the tone block but on the other end of the springs
