Okay I am planning to take my guitar to school tomarrow

where i am its about -24C (-11F)

I walk to school. but i a little more the a block away from the school (it only takes me like 3-4 minutes TOP to get there)

How bad would this be for my guitar just walking there in the morning and back in the afternoon????

(BTW, my guitar is in a hardshell case if that makes a difference)\

please and thanksyou

3-4 minutes won't do harm, really.

Being at such cold temperatures though, bring gloves. Your fingers will stiff up.

Well I got alot of advice on this myself. Except mine was about driving. From what I understand it will mess your tuning up but not much else as it seems you have a good case. Do you happen to live in nebraska its been the same way here but not that cold.

You could try wrapping it in spare coats. No, really, nothing bad will happen.

i'd be a little concerned with the finish cracking, but still go for it.. i doubt it would happen

just leave it in the case when you get to school to warm up IN ITS CASE so there isn't a quick temperature change

Nothing at all will happen, Just might need to retune it, No biggie. Touring musicians guitars and gear ride around in semi trailers for long periods of time. You will be fine.
