ok so i have this pos squier strat that i want to make better, the only question is what pickups should i get. i want to get like a really heavy sound out of them while at the same time i want to be able to get a very nice clean sound as well. i dont want active pickups because i hate changing batteries, and i keep my guitar plugged into the cord going to the amp.so yeah, what pickups should i get?

Jenny needs to sow her wild oats with random Gibsons and Taylors she picks up in bars before she settles down with a PRS.

Just to clarify, the battery in your guitar hardly needs to be changed... the preamps draw hardly any current. However actives probably won't work in your case anyway.

At the risk of sounding cliche, what is your amp?

Pickups are expensive. I would buy a new guitar first

I love Duncan Invaders! Those pinches will scream!

It would help if you told what amp and what music you play..
