does anyone know how i can get my guitar to feedback without using stupid amounts of distortion or pedals?

turn volume up, stand near amp, listen to high pitch squealing noise then try to manipulate with whammy bar.

^what he said. If you have a small amp then it's going to have be cranked and (at least for me) I have to get pretty dang close to get good feedback.

I can't seem to get feedback at all.

I have a VOX AD-30VT and an Epi LP Std.

Your volume needs to be pretty high for feedback.

Try standing in different spots where you're performing to get different sounds from your amp through feedback


There is a video of steve vai stepping around the stage for different feedback on the 1996 g3 tour. couldn't find it on pootube, though. :/
