You might look at picking up the Crate V18-212. Very nice combo, 18 watts, and will only cost you $200.

With that type of money why are you only getting a 15Watt amp? Tiny terror is good for your style tho

Blues Jr or Tiny Terror imo.
AC15 is also an option, but I personally don't like it as much as either of the two that I mentioned.
I can't comment on the blackheart as I've never played one.

Why would you ever get a 15watt, and also limit yourself to that.

im getting a 50 watt half stack in less then 3 weeks. ineed a 15 watt i can crank at jam sessions and use when i go to college next year.

also im not limiting myself, im taking every suggestion into consideration

15 watt amps of that quality grade have what you'd call true class A tone, which is very different from a class A/B amp of the same quality of, say, 40-50 watts. The dynamics, response, attack, overdrive characteristics etc are all distinctively different.

As for ''what to get'' I can't say, because 6l6, 6v6, el34, are all possible circuitries available, and they have pretty distinct sounds, every one being good depending on your taste. Look out for single channel no fur no frills simple amps, and crank the volume up, you don't even need a drive knob, tube saturation is where good tone lies in these kind of amps, so crank it up and let it rip.

By the way, you don't lose that much in decibels unless clean headroom is needed, remember the wattage rule...

This thread is full of terrible advice for the most part as far as I am concerned. I would get a premade Ceriatone 18 TMB. Maybe a Vox AC15. Not a mini AC30 but a different sound.

Out of the ones you listed, the tiny terror for sure.

My friend hooked an AC15 with a blue alnico.

Holy balls, it sounded so good.

The Ceriatone would be excellent. Other then that I'd say the TT would be a great choice
