This.

That's also the a pretty standard song structure you have there.

theres no right or wrong answer; the song structure should be the way you want it to be. you should decide yourself at what point the song becomes stale and therefore what kind of section you need to bring it back to life.

personally i reccomend adding a breakdown

so she took off my pants and was gonna give me dome (head). fukk yeah, free dome (head) (i'm used to hiring prostitutes).as she inched her head closer to my pen0r, she pulled her hand outta nowhere and sandpapered my mini mr.happyman!

cheers for that. i just wanted to know if it seemed right.

jeowy: the solo may be swapped for a breakdown, i just haven't decided on that part yet.

Exactly. You can do any format with your song, and you can make it as unique as possible.

Examples: 12:51- The Strokes
Verse
Riff
Verse
Riff
Chorus
Verse
Outro

FCPREMIX- The Fall of Troy
Intro
Riff
Verse
Chorus
Riff
Verse
Chorus
Bridge
Breakdown 1
Breakdown 2
Breakdown 3
Solo 1
Chorus
Chorus Solo
Riff/Outro

See how much the sections can differ? Heck, you can do a think like Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen with only verses, riffs, and solos. As long as you and others think it's catchy and would do well on a record.

So I was wondering, are black people capable feeling love? I mean can their brains comprehend that kind of emotion, or are they not programmed that way.

The arrangement for Nickelback's "How You Remind Me" is pretty elaborate too....

Just sayin'....

Surely three different breakdowns in a row just equates to one long breakdown . . .

I don't get it. What's wrong with an intro and an outro being used to bookend a song?
