why is this?
i had to get a new computer
becausemy old one just decided it would quiit
working.so,now i have a computer that wont
seem to make any noise whatsoever.
please help.

properly. i have the volume turned up as well.

Do you have speakers (or are there any on your monitor)?
If not than that explains it.

If yes, than volume control and see if something isn't muted.

i have speakers plugged in.
and i checked volume control,
everythings all the wayup.

check the volume control on the computer itself (you should have a little speaker icon near the clock). It is often muted by default.

your sound drivers may not be installed properly, or were accidentally deleted somehow. in which case it wont work

hey buddy I got your solution. You need to make sure your 'drivers' are installed. Just go online and search for 'install sound driver' and figure it out.
