There's a big difference between your keyboard having a high repeat rate and making you have a spelling error on a word, then saying "what does this quote means to you".

And yeah, I had to check this post like 10 times to make sure there was nothing wrong with it.

Check again: you need a comma after the "and" that starts the second paragraph. And you don't need the comma before then in your first paragraph.

Why are we still having this conversation, anyway? We've pointed out his mistake. Now we're just going to look through each other's posts for grammar mistakes.

Never underestimate the pits ability to totally tear apart a thread, and in two pages, get about 3 replies that actually had to do with the OP.

I didn't check from grammar or spelling there, so tear me apart.

Devious swine!

I think "than" was actually correct since he was making a comparison.

Anyway, I've never heard of the quote before and have absolutely no idea what the context is, but what I would interpret is:

Our life is not so much threatened as our perception.

Someone worries too much about his life and survival, that he is actually not taking notice of his mental state. He is so scared of living/dying that it's affecting his point of view on life itself. (This meaning that f.e. he's losing view of all optimistic things and such)

Ghostlike we glide through nature, and should not know our place again
Again, this looks like it has something to do with dying, and kind of reminds me of Gojira's new album. Anyway, I think it tells of how we lost track of how fragile we as mortal beings are, because of the conciousness given to us. We aren't animals who base our survival on instincts anymore. We've progressed from that stage to something further. So maybe the "should not know our place again"-part, speaks of how we shouldn't drive ourselves by instincts anymore, but by our thoughts.

I know it's a load of ****, but it's my load of ****.

He changed it from 'then' to 'than' after I had pointed it out, hence the 'devious swine' comment.
