Need help choosing an amp!
The options are a Peavey Vypr 100, Marshall Mg250Dfx, FENDER FM212R or a Kustom Quad 65 DFX.These are the best options that fit my budget of 400 euro but i cant decide which one!
I play hard rock, blues, heavy metal and punk rock.
Im not really bothered about effects just as long as it has good crunch and good cleans! So please leave a comment if u have a suggestion! cheers

why dont you like the MG?
have you played one?

i play an esp/deanthrough it witha couple of pedalsinthe loop and
use pedals asmymain distortion.
and it sounds just as good asthe other marshalls,
if not better.
ittook some tweaking but i love it.

Yes i have played one. I've owned one in fact. It's not bad as a little practice amp, but theres plenty of stuff that you can get in the same price range that is so much better.
Out of the ones TS listed, the MG should be the last choice for sure. With you saying get the MG with no valid points over the other amps, it's pretty much a useless suggestion. Which make's people believe you are a troll, whether you are or no doesn't bother me to be honest.
Also, saying the MG sounds BETTER than other Marshalls? That is just rediculous. It's hardly even a Marshall for cryin' out loud.

I must ask, what previous amps have you owned/tried out (honestly) before the MG?

And to stay on topic, TS i say go with the Vypyr OR the Kustom. I've had some good experiences with some Kustoms and are quite underated amps in my oppinion.
Does your decision have to be between the ones listed? Or are you open to other oppinions?
Sweet.

Have you ever wanted to improve your tone by leaps and bounds? You started with the VK, and I'm assuming went backwards with an MG

EDIT: To TS; why so ****ing loud? Goddamn, if you're gigging with a 100 watt SS whatever, your choice (hope not), but like 30 watts of TUBE will cover a gig with (a) decent speaker(s)

i have a similar delima. i own an epiphone g400. my style of music is pop/punk/metal, a la Sum41's "Does This Look Infected?" album. this being said, should i purchase a Kustom Quad 200 half stack, if i want that kind of tone/sound?
