Hey just recorded for the first time on my new Vader cab. Let me know what you guys thing about the tone and what not. It sounds a little dry to me but ehhh let me know what you think.

Kinda reminds me of some older Bleeding Through which is actually a pretty cool tone imo. I like it, but its not my favorite. But I still like it. Its just not my favorite...

Lol you're right it does kinda sound like that. Damn. I never liked their tone.

I think I rolled off too much bass because I was having trouble with mic placement.

Eh thats all just personal preference. It sounds good but a little more wouldnt do any harm at all.

What's your home recording setup? If you dont mind me asking.
And what do you use for drums?

I ran a Shure SM58 into a small PA/Mixer then used its' line out to run into my computer. I programmed the drum tracks on Acoustica Beatcraft then mixed everything on audacity. Then I mastered it in SoundEngine.
