Did anyone else know this? Jack Black's partner in crime in Tenacious D was in the movie "Elf." (2003)

He plays a "would-be children's author" (from wikipedia)

Just watched the movie today. He looks funny with a goatee.

Any other musicians in movies you can remember that were a bit random?

Wasn't Tom Morello in Iron Man?

Not a musician, but Charlie Murphy was in Night at the Museum.

He plays a cab driver towards the end of the movie... It cracked me up, because he had about 7 seconds of camera time, and one line: "Now who's gonna clean up all that dookie?"

I want to work in revelations, not just spin silly tales for money.I want to fish as deep down as possible into my own subconscious in the belief that once that far down, everyone will understand because they are the same that far down.
