So, I have this cheap guitar and its frets are gettin really worn. It'll cost more to get fretwork than the entire guitar cost. So, i was wondering, is it possible to turn it into a fretless? Has anyone here ever done this/had experience with it?

the only thing i found with the search bar was more people telling people like me to use the search bar...

I wouldn't call what we have here on the Bass Forum a mentality. It's more like the sharing part of an AA meeting.

just refret the god damn guitar....
Pull the old frets off clean the new ones out get a thing of fret wire, cut it a bit longer than the right length glue & hammer it in, snip off the excess, file down the sides and then level and all that stuff.

Next time if not the search bar. try google...
