Well none of those guitarists are that "good".
But 2 of them are incredibly innovative.

So a blues rock player and two guitars whos skill revolves around FX?

Seriously, get Eric Clapton, Dave Mustaine, Matt Bellamy, etc on it.

Because Eric Clapton isn't a blues rock player?

He's a better one than Page, that's what I was getting at. He has much better tone than Page, even if I prefer Pages music.

I was trying to point out that this is a very biased sample of guitarists and they should try and get atleast a dozen or so guitarists from different styles to pitch in with it.

Maybe it would cost too much.

Probably.

Also, Jack White and The Edge use alot of FX... Which aren't guitars. So what're they gonna say? "I can haz whammy without whammy bar?"

While I agree the edge isn't the greatest thing in the world he's still a somewhat cool dude! :P

They use a lot of effects, but it's difficult to have a very full sound with one guitarists.

They're both good guitarists without the effects, too.

hahaha, mango starr, awesome name. anyways, I think Jack White is a lot more than just Fx. One of my fav. white stripes song is Effect & Cause, and its basically just him and an acoustic. I think his best selling point is his unique style which he puts into his songs.

Yeah, what he said.

I have to agree with you here. Alot of his "music" isn't experimental, it's just noise. I refer to you to Icky Thump. Anything but that riff is noise.

It would be better if a mini-series was made so all genres that are driven by guitar would be included.

It's not like The Edge gave himself that nickname. His friends did. I'm not sure he refers to himself as that either, but I could be wrong.

And it should be interesting.

it's a nickname?

lots of guitarists have names they call themselves by..you like gnr and velvet revolver so im assuming you like Slash right?

anyway i never liked Jimmy Page or Jack White, The Edge on the other hand in my opinion is somewhat creative with his guitar work, or at least more so than Page or White...

Might be cool at first, but after a while, I mean come on, it's not like after an hour they're going to have an intelligent conversation about how a musical note could be the meaning of life and then debate religion by soloing with talkboxes.

It would be awesome though
