I recently bought an Ibanez RGR320EXR and it is standardly equipped with an Ibanez Edge 3 (gasp, I know) and I realized how ****ty it is to the tuning system. I have decided to install a new trem. I know there are people who are skeptical about the all-mighty Floyd Rose, but I know that they are awsome. I would like a floating trem that has the same principle for keeping tune. Any suggestions?

You CAN play anything with anything....but some guitars sound right for some things, and not for others. Single coils sound retarded for metal, though those who are apeshit about harpsichord probably beg to differ.

I have a Floyd Rose speedloader installed on an old epiphone strat of mine and it holds tune like a dream and is very easy to change strings...it was very cheap on ebay too

im pretty sure the OFR is a direct swap for the edge III, so if you dont want to do any routing that might be the best choice

+1. You'll save on the installation coz you can do it yourself.
