hey guys,

i need to purchase an amp. i need to know if i am planning on using pedals *blues overdrive), does it matter if i pay attention to the amps overdrive setting. i was looking at a fender practice amp and i like the clean tones, but the overdrive is not good. i only play blues/rock like john mayer and clapton so im not worried about hard rock sounds.

Thanks

whats your budget? that'd help for suggestions

plus, if you have the amp on OD, and put an ODpedal in front of the amp you'd get more OD..simple as pi

However, ODs generally don't sound all that great in front of an SS amp...

Look into a Roland Cube, Vox Valvetronix, or Peavey Vypyr - best practice amps for the price.
