i would like to get into finger picking can anyone recommend me an easy figerpicking song i can already play dust in the wind
Blackbird is a first-fingerpicking-song staple. Fade Out/Street Spirit by Radiohead is fun too. Stop This Train - John Mayer...those should give you a few hours' worth of fun/frustration.
your revolution is a joke- funeral for a friend
fun song to play

hallelujah is nice, and so is aint no sunshine. pretty simple but nice acousticy feel!
Blackbird - The Beatles, Crazy On You - Heart (intro), Babe I'm Gonna Leave You - Led Zeppelin, Classical Gas - Mason Williams.
Street Spirit.

But you need an extra G to be picked, see if you can find it.

Or look at this TAB:

I like playing it with a Capo at the second fret, from time to time.. which is convenient for then playing Plain White T's, Delilah. I also pick that individually too...sounds nice.

Is classical gas actually considered an easy song? It doesn't really sound like it.

It's difficult when you are first learning to fingerpick. Once you are at the next stage it isn't that bad. It was very hard for me to learn at first though.
If you have a capo, try doing I Will Follow You Into the Dark by Death Cab for Cutie. That was a good finger picking song for me.
