i've had amplitube for a while now, but didn't try it out until today because i didn't have the jack converter.

i can tell that it should sound pretty damn good, but there's this nasty rattling noise. anybody know how to make that go away?

i know it's not the converter. i tried recording straight into audacity and there was no rattling.

Head and Cab for $130? You don't need a head and cabinet, you need a psychological examination.

i have a 1/8 to 1/4 converter. i plugged that into the mic port on my computer, then plugged my guitar cable into that. it works just fine in any recording software. no rattling. however, in amplitube, it doesn't.

actually, the rattling is best described as a crackling.
