I really start to wonder it sometimes...

Is it possible you can find out you have ADD while you are a teenager?
Is there some kind of legit test to find out online?

No, you can go see a shrink, they are trained professionals that diagnose it weekly.

If you can pay attention long enough to google for an online ADD test, you passed it already.

Dude, don't friggin worry about it. If you don't know that you have it or not, it seems to me like you're okay. Right? Why is everyone so bent on having some kind of disability?

actually, all of the symptoms of ADD describe your average teenager, so quit looking for excuses and revel in your laziness

How many hours of sleep a night do you get? Do you eat more than Mountain Dew and Taco Bell? Do you plan on going to college or are you just doing school because you have to?

I agree with you to some point...but I HATE it when people say this kind of stuff.

It offends me, someone who actually has it.

If you are being serious..

My sleep varies from 3-7 hours most of the time. A few years ago I seriously had a bit of insomnia and did not sleep for 3 days straight sometimes (a living hell).

I'll admit, EVERY teen I know has some sort of ADD personality trait, and I never cared enough to point it out.

But dude, I haven't lost all day.

self diagnosis does not work. your mind is too eager to make a connection, and your symptoms are probably unrelated. if you really believe that it's not just the fact that you're a teenager, see a shrink.

Okay well sorry I did not know that

If you are being serious than thanks

Holy **** it was not worth posting this. I understand that what a lot of you are saying. It seems like some people WANT to have OCD or something...

You should see some of these girls in my school. They decided to become vegetarian out of nowhere. My one friend caught one eating a hot dog and she saw him and spit it out and went "oh yeah, ew"

My brother was diagnosed with ADD as a teenager so its quite possible. I say be on the safe side and go see a doctor and try and get some of those wonderful ADD pills and then mail them to me free of charge. Thanks

actually it does, but it's fairly rare, and is waaay over diagnosed. I actually have it, and it's not just childlike behavior and getting bored with things quickly, it's the total lack of ability to focus on pretty anything for an extended period of times. Like if I'm not on my medication i have a hard time sitting through movies (even good one) and whatnot without either dozing off or getting lost in my own thoughts.

i exhibit many 'symptoms' of ADD.

but i know for a fact that these symptoms are a direct result of not enough sleep and a less than optimal diet.

Took you a whole ten minutes to think of that, didn't it...

ADD's not really a bad thing. Like while you cant focus on things like school and stuff, if you find something you enjoy doing you can do it for hours. My brother has ADD and hes basically up in his room playin guitar about 5 hours every day.

News Flash:

yes it does, it's just a lot more uncommon than most people think it is and is over diagnosed.

although, if you just think you might have ADD, you probably don't.

I'll take that as a yes. Adderall is preferred but not required.
