if any of you have dared wander into the Pit, there seems to be a plethora of the user above you thread games.

to prove bass players can have fun too, I have concocted the rate my GAS game. simply rate the GAS of the USER above you on a scale from 1-10 and why.

example post:

7/10, that bass is a very punchy, funky, and pretty bass, but it feels kinda weird and I don't like the bridge.

I want a Circular Monkey delaystortion pedal.

if you want to ask someone who rated your GAS on their opinion in some way, or just feel like a healthy dose of spamming, use italics in order to not confuse the other posters.

now, in order to end my rant, MXR Bass Blowtorch is my current GAS.

Hmm I guess I have to set the precedent here...I'm giving yours a 6/10 but only because that pedal was so weird when I used it. I couldn't figure out when that red switch was engaged or what it did, and it gave a generally disappointing array of tones (although it was still the best one I played that day, don't ask me how).

I'm dying for my own Orange AD200B, after playing on my bandmate's rig for a few months now.

7/10, only because of the spectors I've played (5str Euro and Mike Kroeger (sp?) sig) they had a very uninteresting. Very well built though, solid feel. Would be better rated if I wasn't a growl freak.

Awww beaten to the post by the humanity
On the Carvin gear. 8/10, but this is based off a live experience with a carvin fullstack of which model I cannot recall. But Carvin seems to be reputable, so I'm going to presume your setup is as solid as the one I played through.

8/10, I'm loving the colour scheme, even if I'm more of a jazz bass kind of guy.

for me, all I'm bothered with right now is a 3 channel sansamp bass driver.

Together, 9/10.

You have expensive GAS.

The unichorus is solid, but doesn't wow me. The Valvedrive is exactly what you should expect it to be. It's a tube preamp which you can overdrive and use as a pedal. Though for the price, either get second hand (so you can more or less make your money back) or try it out first.
