Being (un)lucky enough to have lived here my whole life, I've been exposed to quite a few bands based in this state. Some good, some...not so.

Here are a few of the former. Hope you like!

Symbolic (progressive melo-death)

Reeker (splattery zombified death-thrash)

Damage Overdose (groove-heavy death metal)

Bald Eagle Shirt (instrumental tech-death/grindcore)

Stonecreep (melodic thrash)

There are plenty more, I just can't be bothered to remember them all.

They certainly are, but I figured they were known well enough here.

Aren't Agalloch, and therefore, Sculptered from Oregon?

Agalloch is, but Sculptured is based in Washington.

And also.

AGALLOCH. Emphasis is necessary.

Do you folks like folk?

ahhh, same region anyways :P

They also live in the woods and grow their own food? You can't trust most of the rumors...

And with Agalloch comes Nothing and Especially Likely Sloth, but I've never really looked too into them.

Apparently I know less about the scene in Oregon than you guys do.
Aside from Agalloch, most of these bands I've never heard of. Checked out WITTR, absolute;y amazing atmospheric stuff.

Fanisk, a really cool NSBM band, is from Portland I believe. Don't hold me to that.

Does not compute...
Ha I may have to check 'em out.

It's very atmospheric, very interesting. Neat.

Yes, yes. Any songs that are roman numerals are good, because they're off the same album lol.
