Well, the search bar failed me.

I just found out about a game called I Wanna Be The Guy that doesn't seem to have a thread or group so I decided to take the liberty to introduce you to it.

It's an extremely difficult yet fun game with a certain sense of competition that you lot seem to crave.

Good luck!

Cool story bro.

My threads always seem crappy - I NEEDED filler material.

Because everyone has played exactly the same games as you.

I played this game about a year ago.

I've never shouted a longer string of expletives in my life.

Society's doing great. There's a rise of people like PlayMadness. I feel pretty good about the way things are going.

I'm interested.

Anyone get past the "Wuss" save point on the first level? I'm playing on Medium.

EDIT:

Hot damn! I figured it out. Now I just need to do it.

It tried to download the full version rather than the demo. ARRR the first level is impossible.

Have you done the bit where you shoot the vibrating spike?

*Hint* There are multiple paths, and you can double jump...

Yeah, but the whole disappearing block things have got me angry. I'm taking a break from it before I shove a plank through my computer screen.

i remember trying to beat it one way for the longest time, then finding out there's a whole other path i could've taken right from the beginning. It's just too damned hard to be worth the effort you put into it. Don't get me wrong, i love an insanely hard game as much as the next guy, but you've gotta get SOME reward for your efforts, you know?

Agh, what?! I'm on the second level, working my ass off, and if there's another path, I want to know about it!

EDIT:

Found it.

Yeah, I've known about IWBTG for years. My best friend's beaten it twice.

I'm not even sure if I should try it, since I'm terrible with video games. Which is odd, because I still love them.

I've never been able to beat a single Mega Man game, and IWBTG is basically Mega Man on steroids. And everything wants to kill you. Including the fruit on the trees at the beginning, which will fall up.

I thought everyone knew about this game already.

This.

The game's been out for years now. Coulda sworn there's been a thread on here about it, too.

You've gotta get back in the loop, Pit.
#37
Oh, wow. I didn't realize this thread was two and a half years old. Okay, that makes more sense now.

I was wondering what was going on. Who the hell bumped this?

EDIT: Jetfuel...

I'd rather buy some $10 game that Bioware made back in the day than play this. Oh, wait! I did buy a $10 bioware game.

Edit: Wtf is up with all the necros? Holy hell!
#39
Why is the pit so into necrobumping tonight? Do we lack the thread making skills to make new ones?

Edit: How the hell do I jump?

Doubledit: Nvm, shift.
