I recently bought a fender FM212R guitar amp to go with my telecaster standard, and i am getting large amounts of feedback and hum from it, apart from grounding (as i do not have the confidence nor the soldering skill, to fiddle with my guitars hardware) what are some basic things you can do to reduce hum?

here is the amp http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/reviews/guitar_amplifiers/fender/fm_212r/index.html

How loud is it? If it is loud then there is a high chance of feedback. Also can you take that amp back? There are far better amps for the money than that fender.
