It's not really new. A lot of people like the Valvetronix series. They're along the lines of the Roland Cube and Peavey Vypyr for a good practice amp. Try it yourself. Shouldn't be hard to find one.

These are actually different. The old series is the AD. These ones have more presets, better footswitch etc. I'm itching to try one out. 4 presets and tap tempo footswitch? Awesome.

i love it can get perfect range of tones to old school strat stuf like SRV, hendrix, then stuff like Brian May's orgasmic tone, and all the way to scooped old thrash and bassy metal

edit: and all this with a year-old $100 guitar
