Okay, i want a fuzz like what you hear in revolution(beatles), crosstown traffic(hendrix), and no quarter(zeppelin).
Not that kill em all fuzz( i can already get that out of my amp)
So i was thinking of buying a fuzz, but the problem is that i have a modeling amp(line 6 bogner spidervalve 112).
Is it going to sound like sh** through a modeling amp?

It's a Line 6 Spider Valve

And it's not going to sound completely like ****e, because while the Spider Valves are modelers, they are full tube amps.

Yup, that's right, they have preamps and poweramps, both tube powered.

So, it won't sound too bad; hell, it might even sound great. Tone is subjective.

On a more related note, the Big Muff Pi is an excellent fuzz.

What be your budget?

Well No Quarter (main riff) and Revolution sound like they might have been just DI'ed .

i didnt say there was anything wrong with the valveking, if you read my first post you would see i accidently called my spidervalve a valveking due to the fact i hav beenreading too many threads on hem.
I'm not blaming my ignorance on an amp, where did you get that idea? i didnt say anything bad about it either.
...but i DO hate valvekings, and YES, i have played the 212 multiple times trying to find a good EQ with it, and its just not to my liking.
...never said that before though

My bad, I read the OP and read on, but did not notice the edit at 2:14.

I'm just getting irritated with the hate on these threads, but your's I can understand.

Sorry about that

Not so facepalm. I've said it before, and I'll probably say it a million times.

SPIDERS ARE OKAY FOR PRACTICE. Seriously, get off the bandwagon.

Hell, I happen to like the Spider Valves. Granted, they don't hold a candle to tube amps that don't model, but they still don't sound half bad, if you play with the EQ for long enough.

The fuzz on Revolution is a slashed speaker.

I thought it was tape distortion?
