I'm looking for a distortion pedal to be used with my toneport UX1 because with the UX1, there is no way to quickly change from clean to distortion. I play classic rock and a bit of blues. My budget is exactly $100 or less.

a distortion pedal wont work well with a recording interface. anyways, why do you need to go from clean to dirty on it? what are you using it for besides recording?

Head and Cab for $130? You don't need a head and cabinet, you need a psychological examination.

while recording, for songs like knockin on heavens door, you have to go from clean to distortion for like the intro to chorus. instead of a distortion pedal, should i get a wah to go with the UX1 then?
