Threads come up all the time about whether or not drugs help musical creativity. I'm trying to compile a list of bands that have been influenced by drugs. Not necessarily bands whose members currently use drugs, but also bands whose past drug use is reflected in their music in some way.

So basically go through your music and list any bands that have been influenced by drugs. (just to avoid confusion, alcohol doesn't count)

There's some that people posted that I'm not sure about; Don't post bands that you just think they might have been.

Current List:

It may be quicker to compile a list of artists whose music was not influenced at some point by drug use

Oasis.
Hack up her body, put it in plastic bags, and dump it in the woods. This will get you a laugh 9 times out of 10.

So, how are your iPods and your games, and your $200 jeans this Christmas. I got a ceramic horse.

I guess I'll try to help out a little and say that KISS were NOT influenced by drugs. Also the Jonas Brothers, maybe Miley Cyrus. Alvin and the Chipmunks...

I'll think of more bands that weren't influenced by drugs when I get the chance.

The guitarist writes most of the music high and has done very few shows sober. Shavo probably smokes the least out of all of them.

Ladies anbd gentlemen, were forgetting that the musical genius Jimi Hendrix smoked the big one in order to acheive what he is today. Too bad he died from it, but i'm sure he doesn't regret it. It's kinda ironic, don't ya think?

Vaaague! You can't say a band's music "reflects their drug use" unless they're doing a dick load of hallucinogens and writing songs claiming to, in some way, be of a walrus-esque persuasion or perhaps a female inhabiting a sky punctuated with carbon allotropes arranged in an isometric-hexoctahedral lattice.

The music doesn't necessarily have to be positive. It could be about overcoming addiction (i.e. Linkin Park, Stone Sour)
