Aren't there days when you just wanna be Peter Pan and never ever grow up?

For the older people here, what do you miss about being younger? Any good things about growing up?

For the kids, what do you fear about growing up [if you do]?

I'm scared sh*tless that I'm going to screw up my life. I wish I'd just stop growing up and not have to worry about it.

I'm not afraid to be old.
I can't wait to be an old man, in fact.
I just want to flip off little kids and not get in trouble for it.

Flam·boy·ant

2:Marked by or given to strikingly elaborate or colorful display or behavior

I certainly yearn for the days of no worries or responsibilities. But then again, I really enjoy the freedom and new experiences open with age.
Either way, nobody can turn back the clock so the best you can do is work on now, and not worry because there's no stopping the future either.

I want to be peter pan, not to not grow up, but for other reasons.

Hang in there, keep working hard and you won't Actually your concern about that shows that you care, which is more than I can say for a lot of people I know/have known

I miss college. It's easy to get so wrapped up in everything that you don't take enough time to sit back and enjoy it.

Me, too! But then again, as someone above said, I really like the freedom that comes with age.

Having to get a job and actually rely on myself is going to suck majorly. That's why I'm trying to enjoy life for as long as I can.

I just don't want to get elderly, I have enough problems right now. Just thinking about it 60 years from now is terrifying, luckily, I probably won't live that long.

Me too. You could just get up at any time you like and watch Pokemon in your underwear all day. Well, I still do that now sometimes

I'm worried about how ****ed up the world is and people are. It seems like a new thing to me that the world is ****ed up, but I really was just blissfully ignorant. Damnit, ignorance is bliss.

I literally laughed out loud when I read that comment, but it's so true.

I'm afraid I'll get too wrapped up in an office job or something I really don't like doing, and forget about all the things I love doing now like music, reading, writing, and only care about things like paying rent/mortgage, putting food on the table, etc.

I'm also afraid of what I'm going to do after high school. I'd like to just be able to be free and just make music with my friends, but I know my parents will want me to do college, and I know it's the logical thing to do to survive in the world... but making music with my friends is all I want to do when I grow up.

I get panic attacks.

I just left school. Now that made me scared of growing up.

I am about to go to college.Leaving high school is just so scary, all the responsibilities, all the chances to screw my life up. But also, all the chances to make things right, hopefully

I'm not frightened of growing up, I'm just frightened of not fulfilling my dreams. But that fear only drives me harder to achieve them.

I think just this month though I realized that I was now 21, and I wouldn't have to be older in order to do anything cool (drive, drink - separately of course), and suddenly it's like "okay... I can stop growing now... please?" 9 more years and I'm 30. I can remember 9 years ago from now like it was last week...

I wish I was at College, full time employment sucks

The pay is alright, but the responsibility is so much more than when I was at school. Really wish I could go back to just hanging around playing games, not having to care about stuff

when i'll grow up things won't be really different, here's why...

when I'll wake up ,I will always brush my teeth first and then eat my cereals, instead of thinking about Pikachu in the next episode, I'll think about my job, also I will always watch porno even though I'll be married and finally I will always be listening to music (nirvana, blink 192, etc...)

There is a very rare condition where you stop growing around the age of twelve, there's at least one guy in Los Angeles that has it. You still have to leave home and get a job.
