Is it possible to put a KP3's touch screen in a guitar like the same as people do with the KP2's. I'm not trying to copy Matt, in fact I'm not even a Muse fan but a Kaoss pad in a guitar looks like lots of fun. I'm asking if I can use a KP3 because i can get one of them for $300 (in Australia) and the KP2's are impossible to get over here.

Probably. What diffrences do you think would prevent that from working?

I just asked because i've never seen it done but you could assume its the same.

So far no one has put the KP3 in a guitar only the KP2 , but why don't you just shove the KP mini in one?

It's alot smaller , has the same effects as the KP3 , and alot cheaper. No need to make a special connector cable , you just route for the body , maybe make a faceplate to cover the bottom half of it and only leave the buttons and the touchscreen exposed.

There's always alot of them , damn Matthew Bellamy and he's awesome guitar.

It has been done before. The only differences are
the KP2 has different Synths than the KP3
The KP3's lights make the pad much harder to remove from the Kaoss pad's "guts"
the KP2's screen has a glass plate that has a white back, allowing for the light to shine though evenly, the KP3 does not have this. I would go for the KP2, unless you want to make thinks alot harder for yourself
