I have a Gibson SG Classic electric guitar.And I was wondering what genre of music is it good for playing and its difference from the SG standard.If any of you out there that'd be cool plz tell me.

Edit: Was not aware that the Classic had P90's. I'd say hard-rock (AC/DC type stuff) and under. Could pull of metal, but I would choose another guitar for that.

Well the difference between the classic and the standard is the humbuckers, the inlays, and (possibly?) the binding on the neck. The pickups are the HUGE difference here, since the standard has buckers and the classic has p90s. Look up some comparisons between the two pickups on youtube, I'm sure they're out there.
