cheap music? all music services are cheap .. they are either legal or not legal lmao
but i'd go itunes for legal which is legal and pretty cheap
and torrents for music- illegal (super cheap, only adds to electricity bill hehe)

Amazon.com has cheaper music than iTunes. Also, they have better special sales, and everyday they pick one random album and sell it way cheap. It's usually good stuff too. Cases in point, Led Zeppelin I and Electric Ladyland both for $1.99. If you don't have a credit card (like myself), but giftcards and then redeem the credit, or collect change and take it to Coinstar (Maybe just an American thing, it's in most supermarkets) and you can get a Amazon (or iTunes) credit.

eBay, Borders, and Amazon often times sell used cds online for extremely cheap.
You can always find the songs you like on youtube and rip the audio from that.
Or find the torrents online.
For that you'll have to download bittorrent or utorrent or one of those programs, and then search online for the right file. But that's pretty neat cause you get the whole album.

You know what I hate?

Rar files with passwords.

You know what I hate even more?

When they don't even give you the fucking password.

More often than not, it's the URL of the rapidshare/whatever site you got it from.

Sometimes you just get unlucky and there's no way of unlocking it though .

Wow, can't believe I never thought of that.

I always try the artist/album name before I give up and look for another one.

the best thing to look for is zip files instead of rar files, since zip files are never encrypted, and most rar files with passwords have passwords so long that it would take months to bruteforce on anything short of a supercomputer.
