The Roland Cube is probably the most solid out of those amps. The others are total crap, so go with the Roland 15x.
#7
the microcube would most suitable as it offers more amp models and effects over the 15x, but get one of those two and not the spider, the spider is not a bad practise amp but the cubes are way better

Why would you buy a mediocre amp when you can buy a better one for cheaper?

I need a "portable" amp..

It's only as portable as the Cube 15 and Spider III 15.
#17
The Roland 15X is by far the best of those amps that you listed above. The other two are terrible.

You vote for Gear Building & Customizing section?!

I can't understand why some of you say that cube micro is bette.. Write a feature comparison..
#21
Well micro cube has more amp models also r-fier amp model. 6 effects reverb delay chorus flanger phaser tremolo. Just because it small in wattage doesnt mean its bad. Trust me its loud enough if youre playing at home.
#23
micro- it's better than the cube 15 as the cube 15 doesn't have the amp models.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

cos they're retards. they think it's better because it's higher wattage. a lot of the people around here, especially those who vote on anonymous polls, are little more than beginners themselves.

amp models means that the amp can be made to sound like different classic amps- if you set the "model" dial to "r-fier", it'll sound a bit like a mesa boogie dual rectifier amp which is good for modern metal tones, for example, if you set it to "classic stack", it'll sound a bit like a marshall amp, etc. etc.

Microcube any day. I use one as my practise amp and it's perfect for it. My friend however, has a Roland Cube 15x and it is terrible. Horrible. Awful.

Can you made a video you play a linkin park song with microcube?

not really, i don't have one. EDIT: i don't see why it wouldn't do it, though, just set it to the r-fier model, as linking park used mesa rectifiers a lot, i think.

If all you want is a practice amp I pick the Line 6, I played thru a few Rolands just about two weeks ago because so many people rave about them and say they are so good and truthfully I thought it were the worse amps I ever played thru. I would swear the are paying people to push their amps here! The sound was so cheesy it made expensive guitars sound like K-Mart specials. I am not saying the Line 6 is all that great for a 15 watt amp but out of the three you listed it's much better. I even like my Marshall MG10 and my Esteban 10w amps better that the Rolands I played thru at Daddy's. I really can't believe people like them I spent between an hour and an hour and a half trying to get any decent sound out of the Rolands that were there and they all failed miserably. I tried a couple Rolands and the Roland Cube 15X 15w was one of them I used several different guitars and not once I got decent sound out of them or any combination of them. I didn't play thru the Roland microcube those are just conversation pieces as far as I am concerned or OK to toss in a case so you can play anywhere you can't haul an amp around to.

Truthfully I would go with a Peavey Vypyr 15 15W or the Kustom Tube 12A Practice Amp I thought that was a pretty good amp. I would choose the Line 6 or one of those I would coose hands down over the Rolands. The Kustom was really nice I wish I had more time to get to know the amp better because that might be my first choice. I have no real use for a practice amp any more but a lot of friends ask me what I think of this amp or guitar so I try and get some experiance with all of them so I can make a suggestions not by what I hear from other but thru my experiance.

Hiya and welcome to the forum.

I play through a Line 6 Spider III 15w and it's absolutely fine, you'll get some great rocking G n' R The Line 6 Spider amps don't get much credit around here because they are not in vogue. Check any open-minded review (online or in mags) on the Spider amps and it'll get very positive feedback.

Personally, I'd suggest getting down to your local guitar shop and have a listen to some amps.

Nobody as mentioned looking at the Vox VT15 amps.

Do a Google for reviews of Spider III 15w and Vox VT15.

Hello, the problem is that there are not guitar shops in my city or neighbour citys..

Hmm everyone have different choice.. So If you can make videos and upload it to youtube.. It will really help me! I am waiting

The micro cube is the best of those three. Dont even think of getting a spider. The micro cube is more versatil and has more settings than the cube 15. And the micro cube is plenty loud for bedroom jamming. And it is very portable, and can even run on batteries.

none of the above, a peavey vypyr 15.

peavy vypyr is a great amp, as are the vox valvetronix, im not convinced as to how good the roland is, and the line 6 isnt as bad as people make out, most people wont have even tried them and just jump on the bandwaggon
