When I get my new guitar, will I have to lower the action on it? And will the strings be ok? This has been bugging me for a long time.

no, what you have to do is get a chainsaw and shove it up your ass.

it should be set up out of the box but you probably should redo the intonation
depends on how good of a guitar it is, if its a beginer guitar like a squier, then it probably wont be set up much at all, and the strings probably wont be that great. If its a decent guitar or a good guitar it may be set up pretty nice already. But either way you'll probably still need to tweek the truss rod and intonation. dont do it unless you know how.
