Wes Borland of Black Light Burns/Limp Bizkit uses .52 gauge (for his low E string he drop tunes to C# Standard though)

but yeah the guy above hit it on the nail basically anyone that detunes

The most typical string gauge are 10s aren't they? Well, I play 11s and I think that a lot of slide players/blues guitarists use heavy strings to keep them the sound their looking for.

10s are standard on electric


i use 10's on electric and 12s on my acoustic (doubt anybody cares though haha)

Dallas from Nile uses heavy strings but Karl actually uses quite light strings on his higher strings at least, I think he uses a 70-10 set or something like that, I know his high B is a 10 at least.
