for only 200 bucks i think an acoustic-electric would be out of the question.

check out yamaha acoustics, for what you pay they are pretty good

Fenders acoustics are pretty meh. I would know, I own one. Of course you have the freedom to get whatever you want but I will say that as far as bang-for-buck that first Yamaha posted definitely wins with that solid spruce top.
