Hello all,

Is is possible to take a carvin v3 head and wire it into the speakers of my fender silverface bassman? I'm tired of trying to find a good distortion pedal that suits me and think it would be easier, but more expensive, to put the carvin v3 head onto my bassman.

The v3 is 100w, not sure what the ohms are, and my bassman has high level sound system speakers built into them.

It will work since the V3 has a 'half-power' switch, and an ohms selector.

Ah so I wouldn't be able to use the full wattage of it... that would be a waste of money.

Any heads that are just 50 watts that have good distortion?

Because, y'know, 50 watt tube amps aren't loud enough for anybody.
