I have a Mexican Fender Telecaster, and i'm wondering whether i could get a Floyd rose trem built into it. It currently just has a simple sitting bridge. Help, please?

You can get a Floyd Rose in any guitar but you will need to get it routed for the floyd.
My Gear:
Epiphone Les Paul Standard
Peavey Vypyr 30
DW Collector's 3 pc drums
Mapex Black panther snare
Sabian AAX/Zildjian K cymbals.

Not quite true, some guitars may be too thin to harbor a floyd

If the neck is really thin or the guitar is made out of a really fragile wood, then it wouldn't be a good idea.
I couldn't tell you if that applies to the Tele though.

how much will it cost, roughly?

unless you DIY, a few hundred (probably 200-300 for installation and another 200 for the floyd).

You CAN play anything with anything....but some guitars sound right for some things, and not for others. Single coils sound retarded for metal, though those who are apeshit about harpsichord probably beg to differ.
