For some reason, my turntable is starting to make a faint hum, before and between songs. I think the stylus is getting really old. What would be a good, cheap replacement stylus?

Yea, Sublime is a great band. You have an Underoath icon, so I think your opinion doesn't matter.

This doesn't really help me. I could buy a shitty needle that will tear up all of my records without knowing it. What is a good brand?

Another question: Is it possible that I'm damaging my records with the needle I'm using right now?

Yeah, if you think its the needle then stop using it right now!

Bad and dead needles can mess up your records alot. the crystal is wearing out an all whats touching your record is the metal that holds the crystal. Metal and Vinyl is a bad mix.
