all right i was looking at a multi channel marshal half stack and i was wonder what is the point of a multi channel amp or amp head

It sounds awful, breaks up easily, doesn't cut through well, has terrible reliability, and is basically an overpriced practice amp. Not to mention for the same price there are plenty of amps that blow it away as far as tone goes.
I don't give a shit if you listen to me or not

There aren't any good stacks, but there are plenty of good combos, why do you need a stack?

700 your total budget? Are you gigging? What kinds of music are you playing? What tones are you after?

Peavey Classic 30. My C50 has a great punk tone, and the cleans can definitely do reggae.

What kind of punk sound? Off the top of my head though, a use super or twin reverb and a nice big muff would probably suit you perfectly.

why

Overpriced.

An arse with a speaker would sound better for a fraction of the price.

Is there any black people on UG?
I don't think a lot of black people play guitar anymore.
