so i just bought a new pickup for my guitar as a christmas present, its a seymour duncan dimebucker, i havent tried it yet but the guitar tech at the store (who is a good friend) recommended it
so anyone has it or has any commets about it? did i make a good choice or a bad choice?

kinda pointless asking now that ouve bought it...
but...
i personally didnt like it.
shoulda gotten a bill lawrence l500-xl, the real one, instead of something designed to soyund like it.

I made the mistake of buying one, it was my very first pickup purchase. Never will I make that huge of a f*ck up again.

It was very very disappointing.. I even contemplated suicide, it was that bad..

its not as bad as everyone is making it out to be.

that being said, it really isn't a great pickup at all.

k, todays the day, im gonna return the pickup and change it for another one but in the store they only sell Seymour Duncan so it has to be a Seymour Duncan pickup.im deciding between 3 pickups atm: the SH-4 JB, SH-6 and SH-10 Full Shred, any recommendations?

agreed...i would add to this..but everything i would say has already been said.


i hate how much **** dimes name is on. and hate it even more that people are made out to believe because dimes name is on it that he used it. i personally wouldnt buy anything with dimes name on it...but ive heard that the CFH wah is good.

sorry off topic...ya return that thing and get the duncan distortion or the blackouts.

I would personally either get an Invader or a Blackout. Dimebucker would never be an option for me.
