so has there ever been a song that scared you.

i remember getting a slipknot cd when i was little from my friend...and he was all hardcore into them and he told me about how hardcore and satanic they were they were and all this other nonsense...we were little after all...and i listened to like two songs and turned it off because it was the first time i ever listened to anything that heavy...i look back on it now and laugh at how stupid it was....

i also once woke up to black sabbath's black sabbath.....it was raining at the time so i didnt even notice it was playing until the guitar came in... i wasnt fully awake and it scarred the piss outta me

I listened to the last few tracks of The Downward Spiral while lying in bed one night with the sound turned up and all the lights off. It's one of my favorite albums, but I couldn't sleep after it was over. It was quite a scary musical experience.

The first time I heard Raining Blood it scared the Sh@t out of me.
He's a freak of nature, but we love him so.

Music isn't the Olympics. It's not about showing other people what you can do with a piece of wood in your hands that has strings on, it's about making sounds that are good.

Exit Music (For a Film) would freak me when I was trying to sleep and it came on my MP3 player. Weird, I know. Push/Pulk did the same thing too.

I've only ever been scared twice by music. The first was when I listened to the original version of "Antikrist" by Dimmu Borgir. What I was expecting was the polished, not-really-all-that-black-metal version I'd heard on Sirius, but what I got was the original, which is very raw, very dark, and very genuine black metal. I'd never heard anything like it before and I couldn't bring myself to finish listening to it because it genuinely scared me.

The second was when I listened to "Things Beyond Things" by Devin Townsend for the first time. I didn't know that after the song faded out there was a super loud scream, so when it happened it startled the hell out of me.

The theme song to Full House.

Did not see that coming...

there's this part in a song Luca that used to scare me
it is really quiet and whispery and then the volume swells really loud with a yell
Lord Gold feeds from your orifices and he wants to see you sweat.
Lord Gold probes you publicly and makes your pussy wet.
Now say his name.....

The first time i ever got scared by music was about 2 weeks ago.
I'm getting into heavier music (metalcore, death metal, etc.)
I asked my friend for some suggestions. He said Job for a Cowboy.
I download Entombment of a Machine. HOLY SH!T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I didn't try to listen to it for 3 days, and when I did it was in a well lit room, in the middle of the day. lol

Listening to Tool's Lateralus album for the first time, lights off, trying to drift off to sleep.

Then that last song came on and I couldn't sleep without a night light for days.
