ok so ive been doing exercises for my left hand speed and accuracy lately and the muscle on my palm below my pinky finger has gotten pretty big and hard. im playing on an acoustic with heavy strings so this may be normal but im wondering before it gets any worse; should i just keep practicing or do i need to take a brake or something? im just worried that if i keep stressing it it may slow down my playing

Keep playing until you can't anymore. When you notice a drastic speed/accuracy decrease then stop, by the next day you'll be fine again, and you'll notice a drastic increase in speed and accuracy.

Used to happen to me all the time, but it doesn't happen much anymore because i rarely even practice.

Lord, how I hate my guitar. If only I had a good one, I'd be back to 5+ hours of practice a day..

I tried it out in store.

Great neck, nice n light, good tuning stability. Overall a good guitar. I didn't but it cause I generally only buy guitars over a grand now.
