What's the best way to deal with memory on a mac book? I just want to use it to ***** out my band's music(edit songs, myspace & youtube uploads) and to have a **** load(like +100 cd's) of songs in iTunes for my iPod and a **** load of pics&vids.

1) I was thinking get a bare bones mac book and top notch external harddrive
or
2) shell out the extra $$$ to Apple for built in memory

If I did 1) would iTunes be chill with my music being stored only on that or would I have to shuffle stuff between the two when I update my ipod?

If 2) could someone please explain to me what the best configuration of a mac book would be that maximizes memory.

tl;dr: Best way to hold a ton of music&**** on a Mac book(as music as the Chan has porn)
Just because I play the drums doesn't mean I suck at guitar, or ams that I's iz stoopidz.

I love how everyone assumes that only macbooks are any good at "***** out my band's music(edit songs, myspace & youtube uploads) and to have a **** load(like +100 cd's) of songs in iTunes for my iPod and a **** load of pics&vids."

Really, save some money. Get a normal laptop.
