For christmas, i'm cashing in on one. I'm trying to choose between the boss ns-2 and the mxr smart gate. Which is better?

The ISP Noise Decimator is supposedly better than both, and costs just a couple of dollars more than the MXR.

I have an ISP decimator and an Ns-2 and while my ears can't actually hear tone-suckign from either of them, what I hate about my ISP is that when batteries are like half or below, the thing starts to go real crap.
The Decay knob on the boss is a real plus over the decimator.
I have no clue about the smart gate. Kinda left field post but hey, if it helps..

i would personally go with the decimator. that or the smart gate.

right Metallica is a given. Personally I like to pretend the bus exploded and killed them all in '86.

the ns-2 sucks tone like crazy. decimator is the best stomp box noise gate i can think of.
