I scored a Harmony H-802 at an antique store for $36 earlier today and I've been fiddling with it ever since. Everything seems kosher as far as the wiring goes, but whenever I plug it in, I get a distinct not-grounded buzz. I've tried soldering the ground to the tailpiece and wrapping it around one of the screws that secure said tailpiece, but to no avail. I made basically this same thread in Electric Guitar, but they told me I'd be better off here. For pics, go to the old thread:

Any help is very much appreciated.

Nice. I have 2 guitars with the exact same hardware. Thanks for inadvertently confirming what brand they are.

Can you get a closer pic of the areas of the pots/jack and switches? Can't really make anything out.
