The saddles on my Highway one MIA strat keep moving downwards under the B and high E. it's like the screws turn themselves and it gradually moves down. I don't know if this is from the tension of the strings, but when it gets to a point I cant bend because the action is so low and the note dies out. What do I do? thanks in advance.
I have a MIM Strat that dose the same thing. I was thinking about using thread lock, but I'm too lazy. I think it's the vibration and string tention working together. I probably have to adjust mine 1 or 2 times a year.
i just get the tiny allen key and raise them when it gets to the point when i can't bend
Is there no way to fix this for good? I've never heard of this problem before so I thought it might be something weird with mine. Thanks guys.
Why don't you try thread lock?
