Just got done giving it a play.

I upgraded from a crappy Crate GTDR15

to a Bugera 6262 212.

I LOVE it.

A few things though. Anything I should know about this valve amp? I've never had an amp with standby before. I heard there's like a procedure to turn this kinds of amps on and off?

I love my amp

Now we start saving for another guitar

well, youre gonna have to replace your tubes in probably about 6 to 9 months, and they have to be the exact same type or you have to get your amp biased.

always turn it on, let it warm up for a minute, and then turn it on from standby. and when youre turning it off, do the same thing in reverse. the amp will last a long longer that way.

and it wont blow up.

if you dont throughly check over the amp before you play it, it will randomly combust into flames while you're playing a gig.
....it happened to me...

I was half kidding (as in I've heard all the horror stories lol)

Yeah I did. I've heard the stories but the I heard that all this stuff was only a result of them being delicate and just be very careful with it and you'll be fine.

Whatever though. Switching tubes isn't so bad. I'm thoroughly enjoying the sound now anyhow.
