Guys I've been playing guitar for a little over a year and I learnt chords and songs and other basic stuff. I learnt many songs on the acoustic guitar. They are mostly country or bluegrass. But I've been trying to play electric for awhile I've managed to learn a few AC/DC songs and riffs from other songs but other then that I feel like I'm not making any progress but I still love to play is there any thing I can do to increase my progress and playing abilitlties?
Any help you can give is appriciated.

Get in a band that plays classic rock. Or get in a band playing any style of music with solos.
